The Rockwall Heath High School Mighty Hawk Band is a thriving band program that is adored by its community in small-town Heath, Texas. Since its inaugural year in 2005, the Mighty Hawk Marching Band has won outstanding ratings at the Texas UIL Marching Contest and received the honor of advancing to the Texas 4A and 5A Area A Marching Contests. The band has also competed in several prestigious marching festivals around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.  The band is a very visible aspect of the Heath community, appearing in Holiday, Homecoming, and Independence Day parades every year, and also performing in DisneyWorld’s Electrical Lights Parade on March 8th, 2014. In addition to performing half time shows at Heath High School football games, the band has appeared in performances at store fronts across its community.

The concert ensembles have consistently received outstanding rating at the Texas UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest, and have appeared in esteemed performance venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Rockwall Heath High School Wind Ensemble was rewarded a place in the Finals Competition of the Texas Music Educators Association Honor Band Contest. This recognition is highly sought after by the best of high school bands across the state of Texas.

The Mighty Hawk Band is the largest spirit organization on campus at Heath High School and is comprised of dedicated students and faculty members who take great pride in their organization. Built strong by its members and beloved by its school, administration, and its community, the Mighty Hawk Band is the pride of Heath, Texas.
